We had a lovely long weekend on the Veluwe at the end of December. It was cold and frosty, almost bringing us a white Xmas! Look at the trees behind us... how pretty!
This nice picture btw was made by a local Japanese tourist, and talented as they are with the camera they didn't disappoint us!
We had some quality discussions in the local bar.
So, what does mama say?
(Is that the sound of laughing, or the sound of a monkey...? Hmm...!)
The 2 squirrels in the trees outside probably made the biggest impression. No picture of them though! And much to Emile's chagrin, mama just would not make them appear upon demand... oh well. He just had to make do with the huge pool, the petting zoo, the indoor playground, endless games with mama & papa, outdoor football fun, etc. etc. Poor kid.
Oops ~ almost forgot this one! Watch out ladies: here comes hot stuff...
Let's not forget, the source of all this Weber-Ferguson happiness: our wedding anniversary on December 21st! 5 years already.
Back home on 2nd Xmas day, Santa made sure that poor little Emile, who had been so neglected around Sinterklaas ;) had some nice presents to open...
courtesy of very generous Wisconsin relatives!
