long stripes of brown and yellow to indicate the long neck and legs - obviously.(And no, he didn't draw the banana. That's mama's talent you're seeing there).
Another huge big hit are the bathtime crayons he got from tante Nicki. Emile loves to draw stuff on the walls and shower window with these crayons, and then likes to clean it off with the wash cloth.
Today I was absolutely flabbergasted when he drew this, and then asked me to wipe away the letter ('mama lettertje wegvegen')... You see which letter this is, right??!!! If you do, you will understand why we took a picture. 
I would not have expected my son to have been able to name and write the first letter of his name by the age of 2 years and 3 month!! Amazing, n'est-ce pas?

of course he's brilliant. i knew he was all along. all my grandchildren are brilliant. What lovely photos to prove it!
