Emile is not much of a performer when a camera is aimed at him, and he's not quite sure whose birthday it is... but a very happy birthday to our big niece Samara, three years old today!!

The hip thing among teenagers these days is knitting and crocheting (?!!!). So tante Eva got creative and made Emile this hat...

What fun those kids have. They look like the happiest kids on this side of the globe!
Their crêche looks so nice, the juffen so lovely and loving. What lucky kiddles they are.
(Sorry, Eva. not so sure of that hat... I think you stopped too soon... or was it started too small? A bit bigger next time. Keep it up. Knitting is good fun and so relaxing. And then, when people around you start having babies, it's so useful.)

Re: Emile's hat: in Oma's day there was a cartoon called "Beanie" and the main character wore one of those... that's what Emile has on his head: a Beanie!!

Sorry, I thought I had already commented. Belated 9 months birthday, Céline. I like Emile's beanie, it's cute. Céline looks like she is spreading her arms out in that one pictures, she is spreading her wings, ready to fly to the next group. They are so lucky to be together all day.
