Party! Party! More party!

Of course after all those festivities for big brother's 3rd anniversary, baby sister was certainly not to be outdone! After earlier celebrations with Opa and with Oma (see earlier postings), 2 more parties:

At the creche, a personalized birthday crown for the birthday princess...

and her big brother helps her sit on that big birthday throne

her body guard makes sure the kids bring only good presents

No party is complete without a...big colorful birthday cake!

which as you can clearly see, Emile was eager for us to bring outside and share...now there's a balancing act for you: cake with burning candles in one hand, tug-o'-war with 3-year old in the other.

April is a party month... and so we close it off with a grand national holiday: koninginnedag (the day we celebrate our Queen's birthday). Early in the morning, checking out the vrijmarktpretty exciting at first, but after a while...
zzzzzzzzzz...

But - it ain't over till it's over, because off we go on our bikes, for a picnic in the park!and then finally, after all that... we say, phew... :
