holiday season (and various saints)

11 November is St. Maarten, when the kids sing a song for candy. And guess what, Emile did sing! It was very cute. With their home-made (creche-made) lanterns.
Then Saturday we went to a St. Nicholas show. Emile was somewhat less heroic here...

And this was just watching a clown doing magic tricks. ;)

But we were very proud of him at the meet 'n greet with Zwarte Piet (Sinterklaas' helpers who throw the gifts down the chimney)
He actually had a conversation with them. Hope he told them about the bike with pedals that he wants!
