The walk down from 'our' house to La Gacilly centre ville
It is sooo pretty here
Robert Doisneau photo art exhibit, right there on the street in 'our' village!
35 art galleries and as many artisan workshops/boutiques, in a 2000-person village! Mon dieu...
And of course the best part of the house... a large, private, heated pool
which is of course where Emile & Céline spend most of the day
(all day if it were up to them)
Today's yield of fresh fruit
Why yes, I did make that delicious fruit pie (avec crème anglais) from scratch. Was it good? Mais oui!
Dino park! Or actually, the Parc de Préhistoire de Bretagne. Magnifique!
Don't worry, he did eventually make it out safely
Definitely one of the most beautiful villages in France: Rochefort en Terre.
And it had an organic pizzeria, which served numerous meat-free items. Both fairly unique in France.
All in all, that's it: we are staying HERE, it's simply too nice to leave.

this is taking FOREVER to download!! [no success yesterday...]Can't wait to see all your pics so I'm leaving the computer on all day and hope they are downloaded by the this afternoon!
o.k. they're coming now, just need to keep turning Firefox off and on again... all I have to say so far is: OH WOW!!! When you've moved all your stuff down there from Amstelveen, find us a house there too, or you will be having permanent houseguests!! Like the wellies, like the tarte aux fruits, etc etc etc... so far!! ;-D
it worked - download completed. Yep. good photos. Well done. <3 <3 <3<3
Dit ziet er prachtig uit. Wat een mooi bloemrijk dorpje, en zo schoon!
Is het mooi weer daar? Hier is het ook heerlijk zomer. Al appelcider gedronken?
Veel plezier verder, liefs van papa/opa
