Checking out the supermarket

Going to the supermarket just became so much easier ~ and so much more fun for Emile now that he can get the full view of what's going on!At this level he can make sure we are buying the A-brands rather than the crappy stuff at the bottom. Only the very best for our petit prince! (Not that he really eats anything other than breadsticks and water, but still...*). And another advantage: fellow shoppers can see him better, so now he gets even more people telling him how cute he is... =)

* Tips welcome, by the way. Esp. re. eating vegetables... And no, sweet potato, mixing in fruit, feeding him earlier: doesn't work.

** BREAKING NEWS**
Emile has learnt a new trick!!!! It took a lot of practice, and here it is: when I say 'waar is mama's neus', i.e. where's mama's nose - he grabs it! Which actually hurts a lot because digs in his sharp little finger nails to make sure he gets a good grip! Then he is very proud of himself - as he very well should be!! Cynics may think 'pshah! no big deal, I grab people's noses all the time' - but when you're 9 months old, this is a major breakthrough - linking 'neus' to my nose, and actually putting the concept into action by grabbing it. And then understanding that this is clever/funny. I am a proud mama (with a sore nose).

Hee Julie,
Succes!
